One of the hits of the Mix Gloss collection. Siren Tail is a micro-thin holographic foil of various shapes that creates the image of broken glass on the nail. This effect is used in various stylings, it can be applied both on the whole nail, as well as combined with elements.
Product Properties
Medium particle size,
The shape of the particles resembles a round brilliant cut; this design creates a seeming movement of the particles and a multitude of reflections when exposed to light, giving the nails a very intense shine.
The interlocking of the dust particles allows for the creation of a uniform structure that does not rub off, especially at the tips of the nails and on the free edge.
Very high particle density, resulting in excellent coverage (regardless of the color applied, the result is silver).
The particles are heavy and have low volatility, and do not rise up when poured (allowing for control over the product so it doesn't fill the entire work area).
Usage
Using the Siren Tail effect is a very interesting way to finish your nail design. It works great on any nail plate, and its ease of application makes working with it incredibly easy and enjoyable. It can be used in many different ways, depending on the skill and creativity of the stylist. Here are two classic methods.
Applying a dispersion gel polish:
- Paint your nails with your chosen gel polish,
- Cure in the lamp for 30 seconds,
- Apply a second coat of polish,
- Cure in the lamp for 30 seconds,
- Apply the Siren Tail effects to the sticky layer; this can be done either on the entire nail or in specific areas,
- Using a brush, very gently apply a gloss with Long Lasting Top Coat or No Wipe Top Coat (be careful not to lift the foil with the brush),
- Cure in the lamp for 90 seconds.
Application over an uncured top coat:
- Apply the first coat of gel polish,
- Cure in the lamp for 30 seconds,
- Apply a second coat of polish,
- Cure in the lamp for 30 seconds,
- Apply a gloss with Long Lasting Top Coat or No Wipe Top Coat,
- Apply the effects to the uncured top coat according to the chosen design concept,
- Cure in the lamp for 10 seconds (to prevent the top coat from fully curing),
- Apply a gloss again with the same top coat,
- Cure in the lamp for 90 seconds.
