Prepare the nails as for a hybrid manicure — refine the cuticles with an e-file, shape the nails using a 180/240 file, and gently buff the nail plate.
Remove dust with a brush and cleanse the nails with a cleaner, then apply a bonding agent if needed, such as Ultra Bond.
Apply a thin layer of base coat, for example Clear Strong Base, and cure in a UV/LED lamp according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Apply a thin layer of 622 Hot Lava, spreading the product evenly.
Cure in the lamp, then apply a second thin layer if necessary to achieve full coverage and cure again.
Seal the design with a top coat (glossy or with particles) and cure.
Finish the styling by applying cuticle oil.
