Medium thickness wax for short and thick hair

Natural special wax for depilation, which is heated in tin containers. It is applied with a spatula in a very thin layer, removed as film wax without depilatory paper.

Medium density wax with titanium dioxide. It is characterized by high plasticity and at the same time does not create elastic threads. It does not leave irritation or redness on the skin. Suitable for removing thick and short hairs.

Transparent so-called foil wax is removed as film wax. It requires a short hardening time, which allows experienced beauticians to perform depilation relatively quickly and thus save time. It is suitable for removing thick and short hairs. Wax in granules allows the beautician to add the necessary amount of wax to the container at any time and continue working without interruption.

Filmwax depilation procedure:

Preheat the wax to a working temperature of 42 degrees.
Use a pre-depilation tonic to degrease the skin and remove minor impurities.
Apply a small amount of filmwax - apply with a spatula in a thin layer, regardless of the direction of hair growth. Leave a small so-called “donkey ear” at the end, which you will later use as a handle for removing the wax.
TIP: Do not rush during application, apply the wax so that it really adheres to the skin.

The wax hardens within 3-4 seconds. During this short time, all hairs should adhere to the wax (the wax should not stick to your fingers when touched).

Stretch the skin in the opposite direction of depilation (this will help you remove the wax faster).

Repeat the procedure on other parts of the skin.

After depilation, use post-depilation oil-free products.

Common mistakes when working with film wax:

The wax stretches like caramel and is difficult to remove = the wax did not have enough time to harden = apply a small amount of wax to the area again, wait 2-3 seconds and remove.
After removing the wax, some hairs are not gone = the wax was applied superficially, without sufficient pressure of the spatula on the skin, the hairs did not reach the wax layer = apply wax to the areas of the skin where you have hairs left and repeat the depilation.
The wax does not harden = the applied layer is too thick = this wax is applied in a very thin layer = carefully spread the wax over the area you have chosen and use a much thinner layer.
After removal, the edge of the wax remains on the skin = uneven application of the wax = the wax must be applied in an even layer, both at the edges and in the middle
