Active ingredients:

Tahiti MONOI
Sacred oil from Polynesia, which is obtained by macerating Tiare flowers in coconut oil.

Coconut oil enriched with flower macerate contains fatty acids (mainly saturated), phytosterols and tocopherols (vit.E - acts as an antioxidant). The main component is lipids (fatty acids and phytosterols) derived from coconut oil. These nourish the epidermis and soften it.

Shea butter

It is obtained from the nuts of the shea tree Butyrospermum parkii growing in West and Central Africa.

It is a key active ingredient in skin care - it provides skin nutrition, lipid restoration and skin protection, thanks to
its high content of unsaponifiable compounds, which are rich in terpene alcohols.
Due to the presence of unsaponifiable substances, shea butter is particularly suitable for treating skin prone to aggressions from the external environment. The unsaponifiable fraction is also composed of restructuring phytosterols. These contribute to the restructuring of the skin, provide a soothing effect and reduce redness.
The butter also contains provitamin A, which is known for its regenerative properties, especially when it comes to damage caused by photoaging.
It contributes to protection against UV radiation: the terpene alcohols contained are molecules capable of absorbing some UV radiation, thus serving as an increased additional protection to UV filters.
It contributes to strengthening and nourishing the skin barrier while protecting the skin from dehydration
It provides antioxidant protection thanks to the content of provitamin A and vitamin E
Shorea (sal) butter

It is obtained by pressing the kernels of the Sal Shorea Robusta fruit.

The butter with nourishing and softening effects is rich in fatty acids that contribute to strengthening the skin barrier and protecting the skin from dehydration. It gives the skin softness and suppleness.
It contains mainly saturated fatty acids: stearic acid, palmitic acid, high content of omega 9 acids (monounsaturated fatty acids).
In skin care, shorea butter has some physicochemical properties close to those of cocoa butter and shows excellent resistance to oxidation.
Glycerol

A humectant that, thanks to its viscosity and ability to bind water, creates a hydrophilic film after application to the skin, thus slowing down transepidermal water loss.
Provides hydration to the skin for several hours.
Protects the hydrolipidic film of the skin.

Use: Apply the body lotion to clean and dry skin, ideally after using MONOI Foaming Shower Oil.
