Clap Clap Base 553 by Slowianka Nail Trends is a neon-pastel hybrid base in an intense, watermelon-coral shade. Thanks to 90% pigmentation, it works as a base and color in one, which allows you to shorten the styling time and eliminate the need to apply a hybrid varnish. The colors of the bases from the Pastel Muffin collection perfectly match the colors of the varnishes from the collection of the same name, and the equivalent of 553 Clap Clap Base is color 95 Riki Tiki - you will create the perfect duo in one tone. 

  • The base has a creamy, medium-thick consistency that provides convenient application and control during work. 

  • Thanks to perfectly developed thixotropy, the product levels perfectly, does not run onto the cuticles and allows for precise distribution. 

  • Low viscosity means that the base easily detaches from the brush and remains on the nail plate, and the brush works softly and without resistance. 

  • It does not create air bubbles or air pockets, which increases the aesthetics and durability of the styling, while accelerating the pace of work. 

  • Pigmentation at the level of 90% ensures full coverage. It is important to pay attention to applying the base in a thin layer and not shortening the curing time (90 seconds) 

  • The optimal hardness of the base strengthens soft nails and protects them from bending and injuries. 

  • The product maintains flexibility and structure regardless of the temperature - thanks to rubber bonds, the base works together with the nail, does not crack or chip. Strong adhesion minimizes the risk of lifting and ensures excellent durability - also for clients with demanding nails or excessive sweating of the hands. 

  • The base works well with the colors of the Pastel Muffin collection nail polishes, but can be used alone - the stable pigment guarantees a lasting color for up to 3-4 weeks. 

  • The product has a reduced burning sensation during curing. 

  • The layer should not exceed 0.5 mm - if necessary, apply another layer after previous curing. 

  • Curing time: 90 seconds, depending on the type and condition of the lamp, 

  • We recommend covering the base with the Pro White top coat,  

  • Do not expose the base to prolonged sunlight, as this may dull the intensity of the neon shade.  

  • Prepare the natural nail plate by mattifying it with the Mini Polisher 120/180 or Polisher 240/240 from Slowianka Nail Trends, then remove dust thoroughly. 

  • Lift the cuticles with a wooden stick, cut them with C-2 nippers or N-4 scissors, and dissolve the epithelium with the Speedy Remover from Slowianka. 

  • Prepare the free edge with the 240/240 File, and degrease the entire plate with a cotton pad soaked in cleaner. 

  • To improve adhesion, apply Ultra Bond, wait 1–2 minutes for it to evaporate, and then rub in a thin layer of Clear Strong or Rubber Base, which we cure for 30 seconds in a lamp. 

  • Apply the first, thin (max. thickness 0.5 mm) layer of base and cure for 90 seconds. With the second layer of base we build up the structure of the nail, bringing the base to the cuticles and harden again for 90 seconds 

  • If the nails are properly built and do not require filing, it is enough to apply the top. Finally, rub in Cuticle Oil or Silk Repair Serum from Slowianka.
